Pastor
Hal Dixon
Hal came to us in April of 2007. Hal has a Bachelors degree from Ouachita Baptist University and a Doctorate from Southern Seminary, but he insists on being called Hal. His vision for the church is to involve the church in the 5 purposes for the church, Worship, Discipleship, Missions, Evangelism, and Fellowship. Hal has been married to his High School Sweetheart, Anita since 1978. They have two adult daughters, one in Louisville, KY, and one Serving for 2 years as missionary in Russia. Hal loves coffee, chocolate, and fried chicken. He enjoys walking, reading, and watching football, teaching New Testament classes, and spending time with Anita. His guideline for life is "Jesus died for me, therefore I must live for Him." (2 Cor. 5:15)
Associate Pastor Worship/Education
Ron Riemar
Ron has been a part of the staff since October 1994. Ron's main responsibilities are in the area of leading worship, choirs and keeping the education ministry going in the church. Ron's Passion is leading people to experience the "Manifest Presence of Christ" during worship. Ron has been married to Vickie since 1982. They have a daughter at SAU, and a son at Hope High School. Ron loves, to play his guitar, teach, coffee, ride his motorcycle, and anything that has to do with the outdoors.
Youth Pastor
Gary Johnson
Gary is a Graduate of Ouachita Baptist University. Gary has been serving in our youth ministry for around 8 years. He previously worked for the City of Hope as the director for the Depot.
He and his wife Javonna were blessed with their first child Nov. 19.
